BirchBox First Impressions and Notd (Picture heavy)

  Good morning everyone! I received my first Birchbox last night, I also went to Lush for the first time ever! Such a lovely experience, but that's going to be its own post. First, my nail of the day.

  
  The base is China Glaze "Smoke and Ashes", a nameless pink glitter, Massini fall promo shade glitter and another nameless white glitter. I'm pretty sure one of the glitters isn't b3f because the smell was awful! I'll probably take this off in a few hours though. 




  Now for the birchbox! 

I tend to prefer simple packaging so this is a bonus for me.

This month's theme is "Jet Set". Definitely a cute theme to open for summer.

  The Luna bar flavor was "Chocolate Peppermint Stick" and I would definitely purchase a box of them! There was also "Stainiac" by The Balm which I'm excited to try because The Balm is a new to me brand. Sadly the next picture shows where I stopped being excited about this box.

  A full sized Stila One step bronzer, two Self tanning towelettes by Comodynes and a sample of "Wonderstruck" by Taylor Swift. Out of these three products, the thing that will get the most use is the perfume sample. I'm definitely not a bronzer girl, and with my skin tone I don't really need it. The box has pretty much paid for itself in the sense that the bronzer is $36 USD. 

  Here's a closer look at Stainiac. I love red lips so I'm very excited to try this out! All in all, I'm slightly disappointed with my first birchbox. I'm going to give it a shot next month and if the box is so-so then one more box (third time's the charm!). If the next box is an absolute fail, then I'll be cancelling my subscription.
